Scotts Landing

A MERRA working bee swarmed to instal a sign at the base of the walkimg track to the cemetery, which is the resting place for many of the earliest European settlers and their descendants. This sign is the latest in the work around the cemetery. A bench has been installed at the cemetery site with a QR code channelling device holders to a history of the sites to be seen from that vantage point of the harbour. Other work has been to tidy the cemetery area up carefully and to restore the pathway and steps to a navigable state.

The new sign is in keeping with other signage in the area.

The picture shows Craig Maskell, David Stevens and at the top, Stuart Windross, wearing the yellow vest of any good foreman, who was instrumental in its manufacture and installation.
