Scotts Landing

During the pandemic, another plague seems to be hitting the peninsular – a rise in the amount of dog poop that has not been retrieved by pet owners. By the roadside, on beaches and the otherwise pristine Scotts Beach grassed areas, we’re seeing an increase in deposits from dogs big and small. It’s not just unsightly and an environmental pollutant, but a human health risk, potentially serious.

So please, take a bag and tidy up after your furry mate then take the secure package home or deposit it in the many council-provided bins. It’s part of being a responsible dog owner – after all, dogs won’t clean up after themselves.
